What We Do

Making changes in the way people with special health care needs are being cared for. By providing a safe haven, a continuous learning environment and integrated programs through caring and engaging staff, members are met where their abilities lie. Our members matter, and we take their dreams seriously. We strive to provide the needed support, pay attention, give direction, provide mentor-ship, pre-vocational training, therapies, continuing education, job coaching, so real life goals become attainable. At TSL we work on healthy lifestyle choices through workshops, seminars, therapies, daily routines and structure, in order to make our member's day productive and meaningful with purpose. We are inclusive, diversified and accepting; supporting our members with equality and equity.

Intentional Communities with a Transitional Community Based Day Program where your loved ones are safe, healthy and well:

Our Agritourism farm provides Therapeutic Recreation and Psycho- social Rehabilitation services.  It is an independent non-profit model for individuals diagnosed with Intellectual or Development Disabilities (I/DD) which includes Autism, Mental Health problems (MH), Mental Illness (MI), Veterans with a disability and Elderly Individuals with other forms of health disparities.

This model are for those who will benefit from a safe, caring and stimulating environment that promotes continuous learning, while providing services for supported employment, community network and housing.

TSL will be working closing with the LME and Social Services as we plan to bring affordable and sustainable housing to our area. We will offer 1 and 2 bedroom cottages in phases.

  • TSL village will include tiny homes in cottage style. Each tiny home will be approx. 400 square ft. and each will be built on a permanent foundation. Veterans with chronic health conditions, persons with health disparities and persons with Mental Illness will be given an opportunity to live in our village.

  • TSL Village will also include community amenities that foster activities and interactions among residents, such as a Clubhouse, walking/biking trails, Chapel, Amphitheater, Outdoor pavilion, Art and Crafts studio, Biodynamic agriculture, Petting zoo, Library, Learning Center, Farm Workshop, Fitness center and Community Kitchen.
